Dining table ode to Prouvé

The design of this table originated from a commission for clients. After looking at numerous designer tables, they could not see the wood from the trees: too large, too subtle, too much wood, too much steel. An intensive process between clients and producing partners formed the basis of the design. The combination of wood and metal demands extra attention because of the curved shapes. The inspiration of Jean Prouvé and Scandinavian models from the sixties are clearly distinguishable in the design.
